Overdose Recognition & Response

How to use naloxone and reverse an overdose

Overdose can happen anywhere, whether you know people in active substance use or you are stopping by the gas station. It's important to know how to jump into action to respond ahead of time to reduce confusion in an already challenging situation.

There is no certification or intensive training needed to respond to an overdose, but we do offer free trainings to any group interested in learning more. Please reach out to us at qchr@preventionservices.org if you'd like an overdose response training!
