Angela B. Allen, MA (she/her)

With more than two decades of experience in the health and nonprofit sectors, Angela has built a distinguished career focused on empowering communities and addressing public health challenges through education, advocacy, and innovative programming.  Prior to her role as Chief Executive Officer of Center for Prevention Services, she served as a long-time member of the organization's Board of Directors and former Board Chair. Angela’s move from board chair to CEO reflects her genuine commitment to the mission and her deep engagement in Charlotte’s health and prevention community. Angela earned her Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her academic training and professional experience has continuously provided Center for Prevention Services with a strong foundation based on evidence-based approaches to community health and leading her team to building collaborative partnerships and securing resources to expand services.
