Why Prevention Services?
Because it’s easier to prevent than it is to cure.
Since 1971, when visionary pediatrician, Jonnie McLeod, saw the need for a proactive response to the growing drug abuse epidemic, The Center for Prevention Services has been promoting prevention as a means to an end to substance abuse. Although based in Charlotte, NC, The Center for Prevention Services delivers substance abuse prevention programs and drug prevention curricula in 21 states.
The Center for Prevention Services is a private, non-profit agency that offers programs and services to help prevent substance abuse, teen alcohol and drug use, and promote drug free workplaces and schools.
